The phlebotomists at Farnham
Hospital take most of our patients blood. They work
on a walk-in basis according to the timetable below. So
if your doctor or nurse requests a blood test he or she
will give you the necessary request form which you will
need to take to Farnham Hospital. The results will come
back to your doctor usually within 4 working days though
some tests take longer. If your doctor or nurse has asked
you to phone for the result, the best time to ring reception
is at about 2pm. Your doctor should have seen the result
by then and instructed the receptionists appropriately.
Please note that cholesterol and blood
sugar tests are fasting tests Cholesterol 14hrs overnight WATER only NO tea or
coffee.
