SEEING THE DOCTOR
The doctors' morning and evening surgeries
operate on a walk-in basis. Patients simply arrive during
the set hours (as in table below). There is no need to phone
in advance. The receptionist books patients in and can give
an estimated waiting or "appointment" time.
This system is unique. It is very popular
with our patients and endorsed by our Patient
Participation Group.
If you have an ongoing problem it is best
to see the same doctor whenever possible. Similarly if you
have come to discuss the results of a test please see the
doctor who requested it. In these circumstances it may be
best to check by phoning in that that doctor is taking surgery
and is not away some reason.

When the other GP's are on holiday, Dr Colyer
may change her hours to cover their surgeries. Please consult
the surgery notice board for changes.
We encourage non working patients to attend
the morning surgeries whenever possible in order to leave
the evening surgeries more available for those returning
from work.
