If you are on long-term medication you will
be given a computerised re-ordering slip for your medicines.
Most patients place their repeat ordering slip in the box
at reception. Please allow 2 Full days for it to be prepared
before collecting. If you add/request additional or past
medications it may take longer to process your repeat, as
your doctor will have to be consulted by the dispenser to
approve the request. Please be patient. We also accept requests
for repeat medicines by fax 01252 795437.
Although we are happy to deal with dispensary queries by
phone we regret we do not take requests for repeat medicines
by phone.
We are now able to offer all our patients the convenience
of buying a small range of ‘over the counter’
medicines.
Online Repeat
Prescriptions
You are able to request your repeat medicines
on-line 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The service is provided
by our clinical system supplier, who maintains a server
link and is beyond the direct control of Holly Tree Surgery.
All patient data is held securely on our server here at
the surgery.
To be eligible to use the online repeat prescription
request facility you must be an adult over the age
of 16. Also it is only available to those patients
on regular repeat medicines.
Firstly, you must enrol at the surgery. You
can do this when you next put in your repeat prescription
request by writing on it "please enrol me for online
repeat prescriptions'. You can also request this service
by sending a very simple e-mail to m.eldridge@nhs.net
.
We also have a simple form to fill in at the surgery. We
will then enrol you on the scheme. You will be given a single
A4 sheet of paper which will contain all the information
you need including PIN number, Practice Number, Access ID
and your NHS number. Go to the link provided on the sheet
and enter information. You will now have access to request
your medicines on-line. Please allow 2 full working days
before collection.
If you lose your PIN no or Access ID please
contact the dispensary and they can issue you with a new
one. You will have to collect this sheet in person.
